American actress Diane Keaton died this Saturday, October 11, at the age of 79. The news was published in the online edition of the magazine Peoplealthough without providing further details, as the family requested privacy.

Born in Los Angeles in 1946, Diane Keaton became famous in the 1970s due to her roles in the saga of The Godfatherin the role of Kay Adams Corleone, but also by participating in films by director Woody Allen.
